This weekend the Tyrants open up their campaign against the 1-0 LJM Fury. The Fury will be looking to push on from their comprehensive win against the Lancaster Bombers, whilst the Tyrants look to capitalize on a strong pre-season showing with a W.

Burnage Rugby Club, Battersea Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport, SK4 3EA. To get to club (from Owens Park):
- Take the 142 bus southbound (away from the University).
- Stay on the bus, through Withington and Didsbury. and past the Cinema/bowling at Parrs Wood.
- Alight at the Parrs Wood Cinema/bowling (the last stop of the 142 route)
- Turn left (away from the Casino) and head back up toward the crossroads
- Take the first right onto “Parrs Wood Lane”, carry on over the bridge.
- Carry on past ”The Griffin” (a pub on the left hand side).
- Continue up the road for a couple of hundred yards until you see a set of traffic lights.
- Cross the road and head down “Station Road” (right).
- Continue along Station Road, around a gradual left hand bend and then a gradual right hand bend. This area will look like an industrial estate and may seem to go on for ever, although navigating through it should only take about 10 minutes.
- Turn right onto “Battersea Road”.
- Continue down to the end of Battersea Road (which is round a right hand bend) and the club entrance will be directly ahead.
- Go across the car park, get a drink from the bar and settle down to watch some FOOTBALL!
